Bekim Haxhiu

Biography
Prof. Assoc. Dr. Bekim Haxhiu was born on 9 October 1970 in Tërnac, Skenderaj. He is an academic, scientific researcher and a well-known expert in sports physiotherapy in Kosovo, currently a Member of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo.
After undergraduate and master studies at the Faculty of Medicine — Physiotherapy Department, he defended his PhD at the Medical University of Tirana in 2016, with research on risk factors for injuries among professional footballers.
As a representative of citizens, Dr. Haxhiu has focused his parliamentary work on institutional oversight, public health, electoral integrity and government accountability.

He has delivered dozens of presentations at international congresses from Berlin to Rome, Strasbourg and Amsterdam.

Dr. Haxhiu met in Skenderaj with fellow fighters Jetulla Geci, Nuradin Lushtaku and Haki Drenica — those who, alongside legendary commander Adem Jashari, began the change of an era.
The diaspora alongside the KLA — and today alongside PDK for a secure Kosovo
Bekim Haxhiu Kamishi, PDK candidate for MP no. 109, met representatives of the diaspora and emphasized its historic support for the war of liberation and for Kosovo's state-building.
